Mind mapping teaching strategies

As a teaching strategy, teachers can present the relationship between knowledge points and the ideas of scientific inquiry in the new lesson teaching by using the thinking guide schema on the blackboard. Problem solving ideas or steps can be presented in the recitation teaching.  In recitation teaching, mind mapping software can be used to dynamically present the knowledge network diagram of each unit or chapter, and can be hyperlinked with the scene in the new lesson according to needs, which can effectively activate students' memory.

As a means of evaluation, teachers can judge students' mastery of the content they learned, their cognitive structure and their thinking of physical learning from the mind map drawn by students, and give timely evaluation and guidance.

As a learning strategy, mind mapping can guide students to preview new lessons, compare concepts, summarise knowledge, and study physical topics in the form of mind mapping. Long-term use of this learning strategy can promote the structuring of knowledge, make knowledge acquisition, storage and extraction more convenient and efficient, so as to cultivate students' thinking ability and promote students to learn better.

The use of mind map teaching strategy can not only promote the development of students, but also promote the development of teachers. Teachers can use mind mapping for teaching design, compared with the traditional teaching design detailed case study, mind mapping scheme of teaching design to visualise the thinking of teaching and help teachers from the overall grasp of the teaching contents, so as to understand according to the needs of teaching process and make the reasonable adjustment, concrete to make the whole process of teaching process design more scientific and effective.
